Toddler Real Estate

I love to save money and saving things from being thrown out, so you can imagine how excited I was to score a play house for Ellie from another local family using Freecycle. I have been trying to find one on Craigslist for a few months and had trouble finding one at a good price that was not too far of a drive away and able to picked up in my car. On average people were wanting $100 and not willing to take it apart for me to easily pickup. Finally, I got the grand idea to put out a “wanted” through my freecycling group and another mother came to my rescue. Her daughter had outgrown their play house and she was happy to get it out of their yard. She even power-washed it for me! Rob and I went after work to pick it up, assuming we could take it apart. (For free, I didn’t mind doing that). But, we actually managed to fit it in the back with the tailgate down and some straps. So, without further ado, here is Ellie checking out her new house for the first time.

Endless hours of fun for her and lots of spider killing or relocating if you prefer for you!
