It’s gettin’ “hairy”!

So, one of the ways I plan on saving money while on this one-income budget is to STOP CUTTING AND COLORING MY HAIR.

It amazes me how much it costs to get my hair done anymore.  How can so many moms have short hair???  Short cuts require cuts more often, which add$ up.  Plus, when is there time to get your hair cut these days?

So, NO MORE CUTS, and I am also going to embrace the gray that is slowly starting to come in.

Now, this may be hard for me because I LOVE to change my hair.  I started dyeing my hair in junior high.  My hair has been highlighted, red, pink, blond, bleached, and even blue.

My hair has been halfway down my back, to pixie cut short and back again.  I would bet bored with it easily.

Current Hair Length - Jan 2012

This hair is not getting touched until a trim in July.

How long do we predict it will be for the two weddings this Summer?

I only get my hair dyed when I’m feeling really old (like when my daughter says, mom you look really old) or for special occasions. I always to a rinse kind that washes out eventually so I don’t have that horrific root line to deal with.

Kate, is the cut really that expensive? I thought it was mostly the color (or highlighting or streaks or whatever). But kudos for saving money!
